Busy Day

Good afternoon from windy Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's 36 F and feels like 12 F. The wind is raw, so it isn't as warm as it sounds.
I've been busy from the moment I put my feet on the floor. I did two loads of laundry this morning. Stripped my bed, did towels and a tablecloth and a load of clothes. I had everything done, put away, and the bed remade by 9 AM. Nine AM started the Fitbit goals. I walked on the third floor four times. By the time I finished that, it was almost time to start the ten o'clock walking. I have all my steps for the Fitbit and my walking apps on my phone. I have over 12K on both Google Fit and the pedometer app, and over 16K on Fitbit. I really need no more steps today, but I still have the goals for 3,4, and 5 o'clock.
I talked to my sister this morning. My brother texted me yesterday. Another death in the family. This time my aunt. I just saw her a couple of months ago at her son's funeral. She looked good. I didn't know she was fighting cancer. She passed yesterday. My sister wanted to make certain our brother texted me yesterday. We had a good talk, and then it was walking again. I told her about the fun around here last week.
Now, after finishing on WordPress, I'm here. I also want to work on a book yet today. My goal is to write on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. With as busy as I've been today, I don't know how it will work for writing today. We'll see.

I'm sorry for your loss. 
It's mostly quiet and relatively peaceful here today. (A neighbor's dog keeps sounding off and more traffic noise than I'm used to hearing but that's it.) I'm usually back to sleep well before this time. Said dog keeps jolting me awake.
I hope you get everything done you want to accomplish today.

So sorry for your loss of a family member, Valerie.
I'm trying to get back to normal here or close to it. Ha! I wanted to get a re-stock ready to go to the boutique today and that didn't happen, so I will try to get up early tomorrow and make that happen.

Sorry for your loss. I had a mammogram appointment which is not fun. But working on my best friend's diamond painting was fun.
