27 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from windy Green Bay, Wisconsin, where the temperature is 34 F and feels like 14 F.
I'm thankful I didn't need to go anywhere today with it as windy as it is.
I'm thankful I got as much walking done today as I did. I have over 14K steps. When I walk for the last time for today in a few minutes, I will have over 15K steps.
I'm thankful I have the laundry done and put away. I thought about doing one load today and one tomorrow, then decided I could get them both done before 8 AM. I had everything put away and my bed remade before 9 AM.
I'm thankful for good friends and neighbors. They make my day and put a smile on my face when I see them in the hallways when I walk.
Okay, that's my day. No time for my book. I'll try again tomorrow. I didn't get the notifications done. I'll work on that tomorrow too.

I'm thankful George was hungry today and ate chease. I still need to clean his stoma, but I'll takle that later. He let me flush the tube at least and went outside. I need to make a point to clean it earlier in the day, though.

@just4him I worry about him, then he tries to do something extra. Today he walked to the mailbox and back.

Here the weather is getting warmer by the day. The spring is round the corner.
I go for a five kms long walk every early morning. I have never counted how many steps do I walk; but I get tired. Five kms up and then as many kms down.
I'm thankful for everything I have.

@Shivram59 Yes, it is. Ten kilometers is equal to 6.21 miles. According to my Fitbit and pedometer app, I walk about the same every day.

Thankful for being back home and getting back into the regular routine. I got 2 loads of laundry done here after taking care of animals this morning and then getting breakfast fixed.
Thankful for the warm weather here this week! It would be nice to have some sunshine along with it, but after last week I am not complaining!!

Something that was pissing me off last week finally got cleared and the person who stopped what I was doing finally understand what I was doing and allow the portion to proceed.
I am also grateful that my boss allow me to work half a day from home (We were given earlier dismissal) it really help as I managed the rest of the housework for the rest of the day before the Chinese New year.

I had to go to my mammogram appointment. I'm thankful that it was quick. I got my results yesterday afternoon and they came back negative. I also thankful that I worked on my best friend's diamond painting.
