Got Warm Finally

It took a few hours after being out roaming around this morning. I finally wrapped up in my electric blanket. That helped a lot.
George horse never left the area of his hay today. I caught him laying down twice. I told him that's what happens when you go roaming all over. When I went out to look closer I think he mostly fell over the fence. Its still up good but the weeds and snow are very mashed down on the other side of it.
I didn't do hardly anything today except what I had to. My toes are sore from walking in my boots. They are not made for long walks.

@wolfgirl569 Me either. Not like we will be going anywhere important at the drop of a pin anytime soon. I still have a load of towels to get washed!

Hopefully, George will remember his escape and how tired it made him, and not try that again. Did he damage the fence?
Sometimes when I am outside for too long, and it's cold outside, I get just so, so cold...the heated throw is one of my best friends in the winter!

The fence is in good shape. At least until spring.
It was a warmer morning yesterday but still spending that much time I got chilled

I never realized just how much ice/snow pack we had, at least in some places. There is still snowpack and ice on the sides of roads, of course, and some where it's been shoveled from driveways and sidewalks. And then there are the small parking lot mountains, but they will melt eventually!

Yes they do. But I have a feeling this was one of those oh crap things. He likes to chase the deer when they get in his pasture. And if it was not light out yet he might have been at the fence before he knew it

Did you notice if he maybe slipped while chasing his buddy and went over the fence? I saw that happen more than once on snow. Horses don't normally like running into a fence.
