Guess what? Three loaves of the bread we like in the shop today

The photo has nothing to do with the discussion. The tree is a lemon-scented gum (eucalyptus). Guess what? Vince had to go out this morning and while he was out, he picked up a few groceries, including bread. And there were three loaves of the 9-grain bread. You might remember I wrote about them only having two loaves, saying they’re not popular. However, they often don’t have any when we go there. Vince said if they only ever have two, they’ll never increase their sales so today they had three. Vince took two of them. We might need to go back tomorrow and check if they’ve got any left! And as this is so short, did you hear about the computer interviewing another computer for an office position and saying ‘where do you see yourself in three upgrades from now’. I had to giggle.

9 grain bread. Can you list which grains are used??I know grain breads are super healthy but I just cannot adjust with the texture. While eating they just keep failing further annoying me . My hubby absolutely loves them and insists on buying them all the time??. I'm glad that you are getting what you like. Often sellers do listen to customers but it gotta be profitable for them. Have you ever tried baking your own bread??

I'm not sure what grains are used. We had a bread-maker once but we were eating too much bread so in the end we sold it.

@coolimrose I checked out the wrapper. It mentions: wheat, oats, rye, corn, buckwheat, barley, millet, linseed, sunflower. That's nine so I guess that's all.

There are a couple of other things we can't get too often too. Maybe we need to mention that to them! lol

You can relate the joke to the human version, can't you? I've been asked at an interview 'Where do you see yourself in five years'. The answer now would probably be 'replaced by a computer'. lol

If it's too good, you eat too much but the 9-grain is quite nice and at least better for you than white bread.

Funny computer joke Happy that Vince found two loaves. I feel happy when I find my favourite food in store. I didn't know that eucalyptus is also called as lemon scented gum. That's something new to learn today

Almost always in Australia they'd be called gum trees rather then eucalyptus trees. The terms cover a wide range of species, not just the lemon-scented one. When I first came here I used to talk about 'gum trees' but soon learnt to use 'eucalyptus' instead as no-one knew what I was talking about.
