A Good Day Ahead

I didn’t get much sleep last night, and finally had to get up at 3am. I’m going with my dad and stepmom to see my sister and her family for her birthday. It’s a few days early, but she’s busy on her actual birthday. I have a card and small gift for her, so hopefully she likes it. I look forward to seeing my nieces and nephew although I always dislike the three hour car ride due to my back problems. It should be a good day though.

@snowy22315 It was fun, and I’m glad I went. The pain stayed away until last night, and I ended up just getting two hours of sleep, but it was worth it. The important thing was that it didn’t mess up the trip.

Enjoy the celebratory family time! I hope you will be ok with the long car ride - keeping my fingers crossed. I aim to get a lot of cooking done today - I hit the jackpot on meat deals earlier. The kids will be occupied through the late afternoon . . . so that means I'll have a good chunk of time to myself later.

I hope the drive isn't as bad as you think it will be. Try to have fun.
I have to check the oil in our car and see if it will start. I think the extreme cold we had last week ruined the new battery. If we have to have a jumpstart today, we'll go by the garage and ask them to test it. We just bought the battery in November.
Pretty wants to go grocery shopping this afternoon.

Long car rides can be troublesome with the back problem. But rest sounds like real fun and you can stay distracted thinking of all the fun that awaits at the end of the car ride 
It was an usual Wednesday. Everything went well and smoothly. It's 9:25 PM and I plan to sleep in some time.
