Just Got My Kitten Fix

We have been saving up our aluminum cans to donate to the local No Kill Animal Shelter and we dropped off four bags of them today.
Hubby suggested that we go inside to see the cats. I said, "You know if I see one I'm going to take it home." He said, "No, just to visit."
So we went into the two cat rooms there at the shelter (one for cats < 1 year and one for cats over 1 year) and played with them.
I've always been fond of black cats.
I played and pet several black cats and enjoyed my time with them, but we're not ready for another pet.
So I got my kitten/cat for for a while.

I know how you feel. George and I haven't interacted with any cats since Chilly. We'd want to take them all home.

One reason my relatives do not like to visit animal shelters is because the temptation to adopt a cat or dog that needs a home is too much for them to handle.

Glad you got your kitty cat fix!! That's a great place to donate to! We often buy raffle tickets for shelter/rescue place that is owned by an individual. She has put a lot of her persona money into the place and has up to 100 animals sometimes.
