Closer to Adopting Cat Two

For the past month, I've been hoping to come closer to the end of my search for cat two to adopt this winter. My main focus was to get an orange or buff cat like Mellow. The ones I've found at the shelter so far are bonded, or have FIV+. Except for two, they've been unavailable for adoption for three weeks. And I don't have any information on them, other their names and ages. I'm hoping they'll be available next month. In the meantime, after three years volunteering at the shelter, I've had cats jump on my lap, purr, head butt, lick my fingers, let me pet them. But today, a male cat had shown me his belly when I visited him. I believe that's a sign that he's chosen me to adopt next month. He's in the perfect age range and black/white (quite opposite of Bailey's colors) and possibly a Tuxedo, my second breed preference. And according to his record, his owner returned him (and another cat he was paired with, and was later adopted this month), was for housing issues. He could be the perfect fit to be Bailey's sibling, buddy, and playmate. This is all I'm going to share about him, until I make it official, and have him introduced, if all goes well. I don't want to jinx it either. As soon as I get Bailey's nails trimmed this weekend, I'm going to make my move to get him as soon as possible, hopefully if he's still there.
