Hello Thursday!!

Good morning friends! It's already late this morning and I've been online for a few hours reading things and catching up with friends on Facebook and here at myLot.
I have been looking forward to today, it is one of the day where our temperature is expected to be in the 70's--with a high of 74 for us today. However, I don't think that will happen because we have a front coming in from the north. It is already very windy outside, overcast (again!) and they are advising of tornado threats this evening and tonight.
I will try to get some of my work done that I put off yesterday. It's a good day to stay inside and just chill. Other than that, I may watch a movie or something else on television!
What are your plans for today? Do you have sunshine today?

Yes, it’s lovely and sunny here in the Sunshine State. Please do keep an eye on the weather. Anytime I see those notifications by the Storm Prediction Center I text my friends in Louisiana and say, “This is Storm Center 60 with your weather alert.”

It was a 'nice' day here today, for Canada for January, it was nice, but not as nice as your had.
After work I was out buying a new pressure cooker and I spied a cute white and light blue striped blouse, it is a summer top, and I normally wouldn't buy something like that at this time of the year, but it was so cute. One day winter will depart and spring, and then summer, will arrive and I will have a cute new blouse to wear!

No sunshine in my part of the world. It started storming during the night and is still raining now.
I cancelled my doctor appointment for this afternoon. I can't see well enough to drive and am being wobbly on my feet so we can't walk to the doctor's office. *shrug* They rescheduled me for the middle of February. We don't even know why I was supposed to see the doctor today.

Oh, I am glad you got to cancel that appointment. I think they schedule check-ins just for the fun of it these days. It's sad when you go in and they don't help you. My hubby is done with his primary in Louisiana and I think we will both find a new one up here. Save all the driving, the traffic, our sanity, and time!

We're doing a road trip to see Vince's older brother. He's been transferred to a country hospital so we're going to see him. It's about a 2-hour drive.
