Hope you all have a good weekend. It’s early Friday morning here but I have the day off, so my weekend has started. No big plans but have some normal day off stuff to do like get groceries, clean up the house and some other errands to run. I got off to a good start, I got groceries and took out the garbage already. I thought I would hop on here make a few posts and clean up my notices. Shortly I will get a late breakfast and see where the day goes from there. I seen some news last night about the deporting of the illegal immigrants and some report asked the new press secretary something about it. I forgot the exact quote but something like how many of them are criminals that are getting deported, and I love the answer she gave. They all are, they came into the country illegally and by definition that is a crime making them criminals. I understand what she was trying to say but people forget there are legal ways to come to this country just like every other country and if you don’t follow the laws, it makes it illegal. Doing things illegally makes you a criminal. It might be the only illegal thing they ever did in their life, but it is still a crime. It’s also funny to me that when Obama deported somewhere around 3 million illegals didn’t seem like to many people had issue with it but no that it is Trump, oh my god people are losing their minds about it.

Well, the other thing is the real criminals are not able to be found..one would think they would already be aware of the agenda at the moment and would prepare for that. So this mission is only scratching the surface.

Oh so true they are not going to find all the "real criminals" but I'm guessing they will catch some of them. The do feel for the ones who come here for whatever reason and try to make a better life but then you're picking and choosing who can break our laws and for what reason breaking them is okay.

@Bensen32 That's what I say, "who can break our laws and for what reason breaking them is okay" if they came here illegal they have no business being here for ANY REASON.

She is 100% correct. I was refreshed when she gave it just like it is. "If you enter our country illegally, you have broken our laws, and that makes you a criminal." There is no other way to look at it, no matter how badly the left would like to.

I guess they think we don't have laws around coming to this country, just like every other country in the world.

@Bensen32 Psst. We do, and the Democrats WROTE those laws, because, and many people failed history badly, the Democrats were the secure border people and the Republicans were more open border minded. This ONLY changed in 2016 when Donald Trump made securing the border a major campaign issue. THEN the left ignored their laws and changed their position. There was a time, not so long ago, when the Democrats accused Republicans of wanting more open borders to provide for cheap labor because of course, the Republicans were supposedly for the rich. Funny how quickly people forget. As for me, I have always been a Republican, and I have always disagreed with my side about the border and took the side of the Democrats on that one. Trump is the FIRST Republican president who, when it comes to the border, aligns with me politically on that issue.

I love who he has for his press secretary, she's GOOD, she doesn't have any problems telling the press what's going on.

i also agree with you; regular people handle this in right, legal way. i wish i could just come to many countries like that but i can't and it's not right.

Yeah, there are the right way to do it and a wrong way to do it and if you can't follow the laws of the place then maybe they should be staying where they are.

Sounds like you have a productive day ahead! It’s interesting how perspectives on immigration policies can change over time and with different leadership. Hope you enjoy your day off!

thank you, I did have a good day. Oh yeah, seems they can look at the law and have different understanding depending on who is in office.
