This is what happened, I made a discussion and when I was about to click the start discussion button, mylot suddenly disappeared. The message was error, then came unreadable contents. Did it ever happen to you?

Sounds like a glitch and it has happened to all of us at some time or other--or will in due time!

It has happened to me couple of times. I definitely agree it is annoying. We may not remember all the points we typed or even what we thought earlier. Mylot at times have issue with their database and server and would be offline for few minutes. So any discussion which is responded at that point does not get registered. I have made it a point to copy all what I have written after every discussion into clipboard so that in case of such events, I can paste the entrie conversation back. Of course, I do only for 1 conversation. It has helped me a few times. I also recollect there was a day mylot was down for couple of hours. Well, many mylotters discussed on same. Not sure if any actions were taken. Take care!

I think it might have happened but I usually keep my discussions in a text file so I can easily try again later. I still waste time when I change my mind about posting a discussion I prepared earlier.

I'll follow what you're doing. I could not remember how I wrote that discussion. The arrangement of the paragraph, I can only remember the thought.

@pahak627 I see, that's such a shame. Although it could have been worse, it might be hard to not even remember the topic but who knows.

It happens with me many times in the past and that's the reason when I start a discussion I copy it and if the page is lost I can paste it again here
