Mother Nature is Indecisive

Mother Nature is really fickle today. The early morning was dry and 'mild' for this time of the year. Eventually the rain moved in, which I did not mind as the SUV is covered with road salt and looks awful. The rain lasted for most of the afternoon. Late this afternoon I went out to pick up something at a store. The rain was turning into snow. The huge fluffy pieces of snow that make you want to stick your tongue out to catch them as they fall. I stopped at the store, got what I needed and on my way home I noticed that the temperature had dropped 1 degree and was at the freezing mark. The roads were messy. The snow and water on them had turned into a slippery slushy mess. I had a hard time stopping at one point, and had to adjust my speed to the road conditions. Now it is coming down so hard the roads are covered. Poor, poor Mother Nature, she cannot make up her mind today it seems.
