Trade War

History has proven that relying on America is a path to destruction. Many third world nations realised this and have quietly stepped under the 'blanket' of China. Doing a simple Google of how many countries China trades with contra America reveals that the former is the top trading partner. Canada should have jumped in years ago, but is expected to rethink its policies now. Trump's policies should inspire the world to move to other nations which will damage the American economy, not their own. Many ignored countries have already done so. If Trump had the slightest awareness of reality, but he doesn't. Like the class bully he thinks he is untouchable. Until the class turns against him.

@jaylar To be aligned to either the US or China is disastrous for any nation - subservience never ends well. Smaller nations would be better coming together with each other rather than bowing to super powers I believe. Making as much money as possible is not a sensible way to go.

that's the wise move... the prob is that China is so all encompassing, building roads, bridges, and bringing in so much stuff that we don't realise it until it is too late. Unlike the US which marches about, demanding political bowing etc
