keeping busy with little things I need to do

I have a long list in my mind of small tasks I have to get done. I have some larger ones I would also like.
We had some frozen Chinese food for lunch--thawed and cooked of course. I was able to put leftovers away for next week for lunch. It really makes my day easier when I have that done.
Monday Bob and I will go check on his possibility for cataract surgery. I am taking the whole day off.
I need to make an appointment for Bruno's regular check up. I did not get the vet called this morning while they were open.
There is always some cleaning to do. I am also filling prescriptions for Bob. Two different places.
The sun is pretty but the breeze is brisk. I think the remaining piles where snow was scooped make the wind cooler. The sun is to shine for the next few days, and I am so glad.
I have read and responded a bit today and will be able to do more later.
At the end of the day today I may make a list of what I got done, so I will feel accomplished. To do lists somehow make me feel like I am not keeping up.

Making a list of what you've done instead of what you should be doing sounds smart. It might motivate you to do more just to write down as much as possible.
I can't do much on weekends except attending to family, grocery shopping etc.

I've done two loads of washing, done some gardening, washed the dishes and mopped the kitchen floor so I'm quietly pleased with myself.

Interesting that a to do list makes you feel that way. I guess I can see how that would be and your accomplishment list is good.

I make the lists too. For the same reason and because my memory is shot.![](/Content/images/emotes/silly.gif)

I'm sure you'll get everything you want done if you put your mind to it.

I hope you get everything done that you feel needs to be done.
Pretty asked if I could see well enough to drive to Walmart to pick up groceries... but I can't. Everything is fuzzy and I won't drive like that. So she ordered groceries online and called my brother... He said he could pick them up later this afternoon. (I'm out of five meds and she's out of four of her meds.)
The sun is shining here.
I just made some parmesan noodles with ground beef for lunch. I think I overcooked the noodles. They're mushy but still tasted okay. *shrug* Pretty had to check the meat for me. I couldn't tell if it was done or not. (I diced half a sweet onion into the pan before I started cooking the meat and sliced a chunk out of a fingernail... *sigh* I should have just asked her to cook for me but she really doesn't like doing that. At least it was just a fingernail.)
I hope you're enjoying your day.

Your day is busy. There is always something to do. I hope Bob can get an appointment soon for his cataract surgery.

I always have an idea in my head as of what I have to do, but I still don't always do them. If it is something that I don't feel like doing..it can lag on forever it seems, or at least a few days.
