Cruising the waves

I received a call this afternoon. Well, it was the afternoon where I am, but my parents were sipping cocktails outside a bar in Barbados at just after 9am.
They are currently on a cruise ship travelling all over the Caribbean. I imagine it is rather hot where they are, unlike here in the uk where it is rather milder!
They claim to be missing brightly, but I doubt that very much as they are traveling at a leisurely pace in Barbados planning their day. Do you enjoy travelling by cruise ship?

@Danielclark691 You shouldn't feel bad for my choices. Cruises aren't for everyone.

It would be always difficult but well worthwhile. I’m sad that you feel held back by your disability

@Danielclark691 It has never been a high priority or appealing to my husband, so we never booked a cruise. The one I went on was before we got married.

They are lucky to be enjoying a cruise, I have never been on a cruise,

@Danielclark691 Or like my husband, afraid he would be sea sick all the time. And this comes from someone that goes out on a fishing boat all the time and all his life.

Some people don’t like the thought of it. I have been on a few and really enjoyed it

I would like to travel aboard a cruise ship to enjoy the entertainment and the swimming pool experience.

@Danielclark691 I do remember being on a former passenger ship that traveled from Colon Panama to New Orleans that is no longer in service which was a good way to spend time aboard a ship.
