Spaghetti Afternoon; Filipino Style

It's 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon here, and me and my sisters were a little bit hungry so we decided to make a spaghetti.
As you can see, Filipino style spaghetti doesn't have meatballs (well we can add one if we like), and though we use tomato sauce, which is originally sour (like how Italian likes their spaghetti), we add sweetener because we like our spaghetti sweet, and instead of meatballs, we add sliced hotdogs and corned beef.
Do you think our recipe is weird? How about in your country, how do you make your spaghetti? I'll be eating here while I wait for your comments.

Honestly, that sounds good. I don't mind when sauces are on the sweeter end, especially when spicy. I would have added some chili perhaps. And no need for meatballs if you add other meat sources, that is not a pizza after all.
I decided to not reveal my location but it might as well be Italy, I'm not going to share anyway.

Sometimes it's better not to tell people where you actually come from... I found that out a couple of years ago.

I mix ground beef and ground pork all the time to add to different types of pasta. YUM! (It's called Boston Burger if you buy them pre-mixed.)

I have had this Filipino style spaghetti! Our Fil friends had that on the table when they hosted a baby shower . . . I remember it to be sweet and saucy. There are many ways to have spaghetti - as well as authentically Italian of course - but at home we put in ground beef and lots of vegetables - no sweetener.

I know Filipinos put hotdogs in their spaghetti and yes, to me, that is strange. I have a young friend in the Philippines. We were discussing my spaghetti one day and I told him I'd put ground beef in it. He wanted to know when I'd add hotdogs...
I hope you enjoy your spaghetti.

@Namaco21 My friend thought I was weird because I didn't add hotdogs.

Spaghetti is just the name of the pasta you use, not the name of the dish. Italians have lots of pasta variations, including penne, linguine, farfalle, to name but a few.
Your dish looks nice and I’ve tried hotdogs in place of beef, in a sauce, for quickness, as a decent beef ragu (or bolognaise) takes a long time to cook.

I would not say it is weird. But it would not be called spaghetti here. I'd eat your version, for sure. As for my spaghetti, it's all in the sauce of course and I use a tried and true recipe, with meatballs. I always put a little sugar in my sauce as well to break down the acidity.
