A frosty tail and snow on Mt. Diablo?

Kitty just came in and demanded a petting session. She was wet and her tail felt downright frosty. I reckon she had gone out and handled her kitty business.
It is raining out. Her frosty tail makes me think it might be a chilly rain If it's a chilly rain, then there may be snow on our Mt. Diablo, though it's only 3,850 feet tall.
I am going to run a quick errand now. I'll provide a report on the weather when I get back. I understand we are supposed to have several days of rain. I hope they are getting some down South as well.
I'll attach my photo of Mt. Diablo with snow on it. It's from late Winter a couple of years ago.

So looks like you are still having some challenging winter days to face.
We still have chilly winds in the early morning & nights.
Yet the days are warming up to 25 C.
I may be just presuming but tne above picture looks like one of your favourite!
Nice Sunday wishes to you and Kitty!

We were at 53F early this morning and are at 58F at 11 am. The forecast claims we'll reach 65F by this afternoon. The sun is out and shining brightly.
I hope you and Kitty have a good day.

@TheHorse Probably what we'd call a misting rain, then. I hope it doesn't get any cooler there.

@DaddyEvil The predicted temperature curve is almost a straight line. I don't know what the temperature is atop Mt. Diablo.

I do hope they get rain in the LA area.

@TheHorse I know they need it. I think the fire crisis has calmed some.

I hope they are getting rain. That would help a lot.

I remember from way back when I still had my cat Sid, For some reason he loved snow and he would come in with snow on him and stand in a room as the snow slowly melted off him then Mama came to wipe up the puddle and he would be long gone
