I Don't Know What to Talk About Anymore

I wish I had good news on my end to speak of but no. Well I got my grocery delivery from Walmart and I stupidly wasn't paying attention when I was picking stuff on the website. I ordered some pack of chips called Better Goods and oh my they taste vile. The texture is great, they are kettle chips, but silly me, I thought they were plain, but no, they are flavored..BBQ. Yuck. Anyway, Walmart was excellent and refunded for me, without me having to get to the store to return them. They are good like that sometimes. What is your favorite grocery store or online store?

Every month I order from Walmart and I can tell you that the most delicious and best potato chips are the plain salty ones from Great Value,

I like picking my groceries myself, that way I can read the packaging and make the right decision. It was good of them to get you another bag of chips.

I go to our local Piggly Wiggly in town for meat and just about everything else Walmart or Aldi's now. I'm trying to get in the habit of hitting Aldi's every now and then. I am glad they refunded you on the chips!

I wish we had an Aldis here. I remember when I lived in Missouri and New York they both had them. The prices were awesome. I've never had a Piggly anywhere I've lived.

@RebeccasFarm The Pigs are usually only here in the South. Great store to buy meat at and that is why I mainly go there to get meat and sales.

@kareng The meat here is atrocious unless you buy straight from the farms and I cant do that.

Talk about anything you like . . . I'm here for you . I hit up all the stores I can get to to find the deals. But the best place for real deals is a Ralphs (sister to Krogers) near my mom's. It's a smaller store but every morning by 8am, each department puts out markdowns. I don't know why this particular store has massive amounts of clearance items . . . but I'll certainly take advantage when I'm there!

Yesterday was the first time we've ever ordered groceries online. (It's been well over a week since I could see well enough to drive us to the store and Pretty, my daughter, doesn't drive.) My brother picked the order up for us since nothing delivers in our small city. Walmart and an expensive grocery store, Price Cutter, are the only grocery stores available here. I agree, Walmart is good about refunding money if something isn't good after you get it home.

They sure are Walmart will refund if at all possible. I don't know Price Cutter..I do remember Price Chopper though in Missouri. Well good your brother as able to pick it up for you then. Sorry you don't see well enough. That sucks too. I don't have a car anymore but I am glad not to have one..for us too expensive to run.

@RebeccasFarm Did you ever see any Ramey's stores in Missouri? The owner changed their name to Price Cutter years and years ago. (They charge more than twice the price of stuff in Walmart. They're still in business because so many people hate Walmart around here.) My brother is four years older than me and is pretty good about helping us when/if we need help. It sucks here if you don't have a car or can't drive for some reason. Nothing is within walking distance of anywhere else in Missouri.

I like all of my stores for different reasons. Love Aldi's but none are closer than an hour away. They have good things at lower prices. I mostly shop at Dillons, which is part of the Kroger family. I was in Walmart today and noticed lots of those "better goods" items. I do not know what that is all about.

I get a delivery about once a week from Walmart. Usually everything I get is good but I can understand your dislike of those potato chips. I've ordered the wrong thing myself occasionally.

I usually like BBQ flavored chips but if you expected plain ones, I feel the pain. Most of the grocery stores I visit are local so not worth telling their names. I'll just mention Aldi because it's worldwide, and that's it. I quite like Aldi and go there weekly.

When buying groceries, I do it personally at Puregold Deparo. This is where I always shop. They will also deliver but I prefer to do the purchases personally. Maybe, if I'll feel lazy in the future, I may consider shopping online for groceries.

Wow grocery-order online and delivery!!! More jobs. My daughter with four children often does that. Good on yah! I like Kettle chips, chilli flavor. I only get them when they're on sale. Plain yogurt and pure sour cream is nice with it, too. I'm glad that you got your refund.
