3 February - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from a beautiful day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's currently 27 F and feels like 25 F. So, not bad at all. I have much to be thankful for today. First, I want to say I'm sorry for not being here as much as I expected. I had trouble with the site this morning when I was here. I'm glad to see the site is up and functioning again. I'm thankful for my next-door neighbor who took me to get my hair cut this afternoon. We also stopped at Walgreens and Hy-Vee before we headed home and stopped at Dollar Tree before arriving home. I have groceries, but I know I didn't buy as much as usual, but my U-Card went faster than usual. Prices are astronaumic. I'm thankful for my son. He called this morning to tell me he no longer has a car. He then told me he was in an accident yesterday. No one was hurt. He tried to avoid another driver in an accident because of black ice. He rear-ended the car he tried to avoid. The police officer said it was a no-fault accident. The black ice couldn't be avoided. Neither he nor the other passengers in the other vehicle were hurt. That's a blessing. I'm thankful for my granddaughter. She texted me this morning and I talked to her for about 20 minutes. She wanted to know everything about me, or so it seemed. It was a pleasure to tell her a little about myself. I'm thankful I could bless my friend down the hall. I saw a product on sale at Hy-Vee that she loves and got it for her. She was surprised and happy. It blessed me so much. I'm thankful I got my work done on WordPress. Since I couldn't be here, I got caught up there. I'm thankful I got the laundry done first thing this morning. The load was extra large. Or maybe extra bulky with the number of sweatshirts in the wash. Okay, that's my day. I won't be here much tomorrow. My brother is picking me up for the funeral at 9 AM. I'll be back in the afternoon. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
