Can a doctor make me healthy again?

I feel guilty when people say this. This is because I tried almost all medications and I couldn’t tolerate them. The side effects were worse than panic attacks or depression. I tried a medication for weeks, another one for a week, and so on. I don't want to talk too much about the side effects I had, but they were worse than my panic attacks. I prefer to live all my life with depression or panic attacks if I had to choose. When I took medication and changed it often I couldn't sleep, eat or do anything. I couldn't even use my computer. Now I have to make a list with all medications and side effects. I decided to change the doctor. But the appointment will be online or on the phone.
The medication I am taking now made me lose all my teeth, it ruined my sleep, it affected my bones and liver. And now I have to ask for more medication. And people say that medication will make me healthy again. I can understand that people have good intentions, but they give me false hopes. They think that a doctor can cure my problems. Even my mom thinks that. I have huge doubts because I know what I need. Medication can never replace what I need. But I will change my medication again. I have lost support people in my life and since then my problems worsened. It’s like people blame me like I haven’t tried enough medication. And I tried almost all of them with very bad side effects. Therapy didn’t work, I can’t tolerate medication. I don’t think a doctor can give my health back if my body doesn’t tolerate medication. I have very low blood pressure and some meds lower the blood pressure even more. My mom thinks a doctor can make me healthy again. Do you think the same?

It is not what I think. It is what you think. And doctors are not miracle workers and neither are meds. All meds have side effects. I have accepted some side effects because they are less important than what I have gained. Have you talked with your doctors about that?

I just hope you find your peace and you get healthy again. Eat soft food if you have no teeth left.

i was told that this kind of medications need at least 6 months to kick in. since you tried a lot of them, maybe you and your body need a break. doctors are there for us but you know your body the best. i wouldn't go back to my antidepressants as well but i had to cause i had shoulder/arm/body pain.
