As bad and scary as things are in the US right now, it could always be worse. We could be in Ukraine or the Kursk region of Russia for instance. The latest news is that Kim Jung Un is pulling back troops from the front lines since there have been massive casualties among them. Some claim they haven't been directly involved since Mid January yet, just within the last few days he has supposedly sent more troops to fight.They are probably going to be slaughtered as well

I remember all too well the day that war began, it was near the end of February 2022.
I took a personal day to go and watch the babies as our daughter-in-law was exhausted and I watched them as she slept for a few hours. I watched the news, and it was sickening.
I wonder if the feeling so many of us Canadians are feeling is anything like what they felt like over there before their country was taken over.

@snowy22315 I agree, he is such a political bully, I try not to say anything, and I hope that I do not offend you, as I realize that he WAS voted in by a majority of Americans.

It just seems to be something that is going to drag on indefinitely It will probably end pretty quickly if the US stops supplying aid though

@snowy22315 The war between Israel and Hamas has stopped. The Russia - Ukraine war will also stop if the US stops funding Ukraine.

The Russians can’t beat anybody. Remember they tried to invade Afghanistan in the 80s, and that didn’t work. (Didn’t work too well for us, because we were helping the rebels…one of whom was bin Laden…)
