What do you have around your house you haven't used in a long time?

There are several things here, but one thing I just found when I was cleaning out a small hutch was a hole punch. That is one of those things that are not used very often, but I have the feeling if I got rid of it, I might immediately find a need. Anyway, I will add it to the small office supply drawer I have here. I have more office type junk in the area I used to use as an office, which is now more of a storage space, and has the treadmill in it. The hole punch is fairly small though and will fit nicely in the drawer. What have you found that you haven't used in years, but you are reluctant to get rid of?

We have a hole punch too. Like you I don’t want to get rid of it in case I need it. There is a calculator in our desk too that hasn’t been used in forever.

Yep, I am sure I have at least one, and probably two calculators floating around.

I have a bunch of office supplies, like a three hole punch, packs of typing paper, pencils and pens that we haven't used since before we moved into this house over seven years ago. It's all stored in a wooden filing cabinet in the corner of the kitchen. All of that needs to go elsewhere but it needs to be sorted through before we can get rid of it.
There are plastic totes full of books stored in the garage with totes of blankets, sheets, pillow cases and who knows what else that could be given to someone who needs stuff like that.

@DaddyEvil I know, I have some things I want to drop off at the animal shelter, and I keep putting it off. It is a bit out of the way, and in fact I really would have gone there today, but the weather was not nice at all this morning cold, and windy so I decided I was just going to pick up my meds in the opposite direction and forget about going over there. I will get it all ready to go though so the next time I am out on a decent day I will drop it off, maybe I will even put it in the car.

It's hard to get rid of things sometimes even if we don't use them.

All my online store stuff, because I'm going to get back at it. COVID shut me down, people only bought toilet paper.

@snowy22315 That would be an excellent idea. However, we don't have a bathroom upstairs.

@kareng bathroom? Did you mean bedroom? I mean you could load up the water the night before or something and have it ready to go when needed.

I gave my Keurig away. I just didn't find it practical. However, if I had house with stairs I would keep one upstairs.

That's happened to me twice lately. I threw things away, then needed them.

I have few catron boxes and paper bags that I have not used for long and looking to get rid of. Each time , I would think of getting rid of it while collecting unwanted plastic wastes from my house , but then at last moment, would decide to use other bags and things around to get rid of them. I have minimal clothes and my other times are minimal. I that I ensure high rate of utilization and would only dispose things once they cannot be used further. Good to know your thoughts on the topics. Well , I do not keep a home office so less supplies are kept for now. Have a great day ahead!

@snowy22315 Get rid of them when the weather is good enough. Material things are overrated, especially if you are not using them anymore.
