Reports of a fireball that was seen in the states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois did cause many residents of those states to contact employees of the American Meteor Society (AMS) that a meteor was seen in the sky on the evening of Tuesday evening.
Astronomer Jonathan McDowell did mention that what likely happened what that a Starlink-5693 satellite was making a return to the planet but the good part is that the satellite was burned up and no metal parts did land on the ground.

People were scared that a meteor shower was in the area. Thank goodness no one was hurt in the incident.

At least they knew what caused the fireball. That was a good thing.

Perhaps all of these increased number of satellites burning up like that contributes to air pollution, and to global warming, too.
Musk should be made to land them in a safe way, and recycle the parts of his satellite.

I am in agreement with you about the satellites coming from space to earth are going to cause trouble.
