I have wonderful memories of my tour of New Zealand a few years ago What fascinated me the most was the miles and miles prairies skirting the main road. We were on our sight seeing spree and had to travel by this road.
It is not just the grass but the sheep grazing - thousands of them We are told they have no shelter - rain or shine they live on the prairies.

@Fleura Talking of Laanolin we were taken to a place where we were able to buy 'Lanolin Cream' made there.

@allknowing Indeed, wool with a good coating of its natural lanolin keeps water out well.
