Nothing exciting going on here, but it's a nice day for Feb. Next week looks like Hell though with lots of yuk in the forecast, snow , ice etc. I will definitely do my steps today..because outdoor walking will probably be severely curtailed next week. Are you in for a weather mess next week too?

Forecast says rain from Monday until Wednesday, no snow but walking outdoors is likely to be out of question regardless. And later in the week there would be mud anyway, unless I travel to a bigger city I'll have to walk indoors too. But I figured out my way to do my steps at home so I'll be alright.

@somewitch I don't have a TV in there. I usually listen to podcasts. I could try music, but I enjoy podcasts. I have tried watching the Kindle in there, but it makes me look down which bothers my neck. If I had some kind of stand to use so I didn't have to look down, it would be best. I do have a cellphone stand and other small stands which might work, I guess. Maybe I will try to rig something up.

@snowy22315 Well, I walk around the table while browsing on my phone, I don't know which is worse. Do you watch or listen to anything while walking on the pad?

Our city in West Virginia flooded terribly. Thank God our home is up on the mountain.

@Tampa_girl7 Oh sounds like a plan. You can have fun picking out a pet when you get up there..Once, the time is right of course. Then you don't have to be in a big hurry to restore anyway

Yes, always good if you can avoid a flood zone. When are you planning to make the move?

@snowy22315 We decided to wait so Baby can live her life out here. We are fearful of her being traumatized with such a long trip and new surroundings. The home is still not restored either.

Weatherwise no complaints. Healthwise I am asked to take rest for 3 days and am given a few tablets.

Our weather mess starts tomorrow with snow and ice and then again next week with more mess. I'm having groceries delivered this afternoon so we don't have to venture out tomorrow

@snowy22315 looks like February is making up for winter weather and hitting us all with something next week. Hope it doesn't interfere with your appointment

@Marilynda1225 It kind of seems like typical Feb. weather, but after our rough January, I sure could do without it...we all could!

The extreme hot weather is supposed to ease off next week. I do hope that is the case.

I hate a cold rain..I would rather have snow honestly, as long as not too much.

I doubt it. The weather is mild right now - not too much of anything going on. I am enjoying these few months until the hurricane season starts. We were lucky to get only one bad one last year( Beryl). Usually l can tell by the names which ones will be destructive. In fact l have not so far heard any of my three first names in a hurricane list.

You have 3 first names?. I don't think there were as many last year as they were predicting. This area wasn't affected at all but sometimes it is
