Strange Things Are Happening

It seemed every day I was reading about plane crashes. Today I also saw a small plane had crashed down and landed on a bus. Almost makes you not want to go outside. Who knows what might land on you? Then in Alaska, we have a plane with ten people missing, Just gone. Bering Air Caravan heading from Unalakleet to Nome with nine passengers and one pilot is missing somewhere. They’re doing an active ground search from Nome to White Mountain.

I've never been on a plane and I don't know if I ever will, then I didn't think one could land on me. Meanwhile Southern Europe is experiencing lots of earthquake activity, apparently.

@somewitch I believe climate change and other forces are responsible

I think that it's really just coincidence that there has been a spate of air disasters recently. But I've been wrong before.

There could be scientific reason for it too. Kinda air becoming heavier with moisture and pollutants, making it difficult for pilots to see clearly. Global warming being responsible for that excess moisture in the air, and pollutants, we have too much of it. Add to that the electronic interference.... The unscientific reason............ America elected Donald Thump who is a blond. Need I say anything more?

Too many to dismiss as coincidence. But I am giving benefit of doubt to America's enemies and blaming it on climate change and pollutants disturbing visual abilities of the pilots.

I heard about this and why people are paying attention is Trump gutted all of this. Why the first thing he said about helicopter plane crash was Joe Biden. He gutted it and fired everyone and now all this happening. Grown ups are grown up for a reason. Trump a man child who thinks he knows best.

I think, there are some technical defects in those air crafts.

To be honest, most planes don't crash in neighborhoods or on houses or even just a person. Many crashes are on take-off and/or landing, that is the most dangerous time for them. If we worried about a plane landing on our head, staying inside is not going to help--planes land on buildings and homes by accident at times, too. It's just not healthy to stay inside all the time, I don't get to spend as much time outside as I would like to, and I do love to be at home--but I don't want to be afraid to go outside all the time. Let's hope life never comes to that.

@MariaCoyle and then there is the though that you might be safe in your home and not go out but then aplane lands on your house,

@RasmaSandra Or a meteor goes through your ceiling...or a wild driver plows right into your home...or someone jumps off a building and lands on you. Just a few scenarios of things that I have read about happening in the past. In all honesty, many of us say ''be safe!'' to our friends and family as they leave, or travel, or whatever. But things have happened to many people even when they actually tried to be safe. No one is ever truly safe from everything. Even if a person lived in a sealed bubble of some sort, he/she would still not be safe from everything. Life just doesn't work that way, but still, we do try to be as safe as we can!

That is indeed quite strange. Are airlines hiring under trained staff to run more flights? Or are pilots watching videos and reels when flying? Some serious questions here!

I know what you mean since I am kind of fearful that an airplane or a helicopter will fall down from the sky and crash into my neighborhood like what happened in Philadelphia.
