Rest of The Story

While in the Er, I was stuck in a wheelchair that can only be moved by someone holding the handle in the back. I had my hospital bag I keep ready so I don't have to have Tom gather what I need when I get admitted. My purse and a hoodie, as the ER is as cold as a meat packing company.
An elderly lady approached me and asked if she could say a prayer for me. I agreed. A few minutes later, a young man tapped me on my shoulder. He said "you have been here quite a while, could I get you some water or a soda? I told him yes, that would be so nice...he bought me a water. And when he left with his wife and child, he put thumbs up.
Just proves there are still good people in this world. I will be sure to pay it forward.

I'ts always nice to see when people are kind. I like to think most people are generally kind people, but are to afraid to act.

You sound like you stay as prepared as you can be, and then, as you say, sometimes kind people look out for you.
