Still Shopping

But I got surprise money today so that will pay for what I get. It's just finding some chicks to buy. Right now I am checking Tractor Supply. The neighbor had owed us money and got it paid back today. I am thinking I will go to Rural King Monday or Tuesday.
Spent the day mostly inside. I did have to put the draft blocker back on the back door. It fell off this morning. Then this evening I had to chase a couple of the chickens to get them in. With the daylight lasting longer they argue when I want them up early. I had to catch one of the girls and then one of the roosters threatened me. He was wanting to protect her which is good. But that got him caught too.

We ordered tonight. I got a salad. Hubby got a pizza.

Looks you had a great, busy and productive day! Who does not love to get some unexpected money, especially when it can towards something fun like getting more chickens. Well, hopefully you could find some great one at Rural King or Tractor supply. Another thing is your chickens does have personalities! I loved the fact they resisted the bedtime as the days are getting longer. And the rooster, well he is definitely taking his work seriously. Salad and pizza seem to be a good combination for dinner. I had pizza for dinner. Well, good luck with your things and have a great relaxing weekend!

They are fun. In the next couple of weeks I will leave them out when we order because it will be light after I finish eating.

Surprise money is always good, even if it was something you were owed anyway.
Seems like you stayed out longer than expected, but that protective rooster sounds adorable!

We don't worry about him getting us paid back. He always has. Just wasn't expecting it yet
A little longer. They went in today but it is rainy. As long as he doesn't start attacking for no reason.
