Darwin Frogs Have Froglets

Parque Tantauco is a remote part of an island off Chile's coast. Unfortunately, a deadly fungus has threatened the Darwin’s frog species. To preserve the species eleven endangered mal frogs were brought to London Zoo. Even though it seems odd that male frogs were taken to the zoo it is because these frogs carry their tadpoles in their vocal sacs to protect them. As a result, at the zoo, 33 froglets are now alive and happy.

Say hello to my country frogs. I imagine that the males placed the tadpoles in their vocal sacs after the eggs turned into tadpoles.

@TheHorse nope just the guys with the babies in the tadpoles in their vocal sacs. Make me wonder what use the females are. Whatever the story is the guy frogs have helped to save the species,

I may had actually send as much frogs back to London zoo as possible. Be it male or female frogs. I cannot tell the difference so I would have ended up getting everything back.

Good to know that the frogs that came from Chile to London are making strides in growing the population.
