Freezing Rain

We didn't get cold as fast as predicted but we're still at 35F at 8:15 pm. At least the prediction for snow/rain mix was taken off the table... My brother came by at noon today and brought some groceries we didn't order... When I told him they weren't ours, he said he could still bring stuff to us even if we didn't order it. He's a goofball at times.

Ouch. I bet you'll be glad when the weather clears. Glad the chickens went in with little fuss.

I hope it doesn't last long! And the sun comes out tomorrow!

We had snow overnight so the whole world is white and pretty.

I hate freezing rain, it is so dangerous, I hope that you do not get much of it. We had snow begin here about 4:50 this afternoon and it is still coming down.

We were supposed to get 7 inches of snow and only got 1 I’ll take it

Brr! Freezing day. We had several inches v of snow a couple days ago. Took two days to melt off. Glad we didn't get any more.

It's not cold here as expected. We have planned a vacation for 5 days in this week so busy in planning for it today. We book hotel and local transport in advance today itself.

It's good you have plenty to do when the weather is terrible.

It's a lazy sunday here and I plan to do just the bare minimum. I have nothing much planned. I have a long week ahead. I want to get good rest. My daughter is crocheting right now. I wish I was also good at that

Looks like the weather caught you by surprise. The best part is the chickens cooperated – they may not like getting wet like how we humans do. Breaking off ice does not seem easy or fun but I guess you need to spend most of the day inside staying warm. That’s not easy at all. Crocheting looks a good way to stay busy for the evening. I would like to try perhaps when I get like more time. I definitely agree that finishing old projects and starting new are always satisfying and brings in a state of achievement. Hope the weather gets better and you have a great relaxing weekend ahead!

Aww, crocheting! That’s so sweet. Yesterday it rained all day but I had no plans aside from grocery shopping so that was fine. I even felt warm enough to leave the bedroom window slightly open to let the sound of the rain in and soothe me to sleep. Then I woke up at 4 for a toilet break, closed the window and got back to sleep.

It is so cold today!
