Getting better

I feel a lot better today, but still get out of breath pretty easy. Tom is sick now, claims I gave him the flu. 
I have gone through a couple of boxes and threw away some old files I didn't need. Still have one more filing cabinet to go through tomorrow.
Went to the Dollar General today and got some toilet paper as with my nose running I went through a few rolls. 
Also picked up a couple of bottles of Honey flavored Nyquil. They had it on sale.
We had Mexican Lasange last night. Tonight Tom ate some of what was left, and I fixed a BLT.

Glad you're getting better. If George got sick, I usually did or visa versa. Happens a lot in a two-person household.

Hope that you feel fully okay soon. And hoping the same for Tom too. Here too my husband is down with flu kind of symptoms and running nose. The toilet tissue rolls are getting used up.

I have been turning the roasted chicken into something else. I froze part of it to give to Martin when he comes.

It’s good to hear you are recovering and feeling better. However, sorry to hear Tom is sick. Sure, he will recover quickly. Looks like you are also keeping yourself busy, even if that meant checking out the file cabinet and running few errands. I also think it is a smart thing to stock up the Honey favoured Nyquil when it’s on sale. Mexican lasagna sounds delicious and BLT is perfect go to for a quick meal. Now , I am getting inspired to try out Lasagna for dinner and well would try it out one of these days. Well, hope you both recover fully better soon and enjoy the relaxing weekend ahead!

My Mexican Lasagna is actually a box of Old El Paso Soft Bake. I call it lasagna because of the layers of cheese and meat. I do it a little different than the box directions, and have a round bowl that the tortillas fit perfectly in. Actually very quick and easy.
