It's Monday and so another week begins

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a sunny morning here in my little corner of the myLot world. Thankfully the snowy mess on the ground is melting somewhat. Hope we can get rid of it all before the next mess comes tomorrow and into Wednesday.
We had fun at the Super Bowl party yesterday at my daughters house. It was extra exciting since the Eagles won. Of course everything on tv this morning is Eagles, Eagles, Eagles and the big parade will be on Friday in Philly (Philadelphia). I hate to say it in the midst of all this hoopla but I'm glad football season is over (sorry to all you football fans).
I'm sitting here enjoying my coffee and just finished paying bills. Online banking is such a convenience and it's hard to remember the old days when every bill had to be paid by check and mailed.
I have all my tax info so now I can get it all off to the accountant and get that taken care of. I had been waiting for my social security statement and was getting worried and then I found it on my desk in the middle of a whole bunch of other stuff. What a scatterbrain I am 
I don't have any exciting plans for today but i do want to pick a new book to read. I had finished the one I was reading and started a new one. I was already about 100 pages in when I realized I had already read this book. Since it was a mystery and I knew how it was going to turn out, there was no reason to read it again. Besides, I have so many books that it wouldn't make sense to reread one.
The biggest brain buster for me today will probably be what to make for dinner.
That's what's going on here. How's your day going?

I’m glad you enjoyed the Super Bowl party your daughter hosted.
Online bill pay sure is nice. I especially love the automatic ones each month like my phone bill.
Oh gosh how annoying you wasted time on a book you had already read.
I have to take my oldest daughter to an oral surgeon appointment and then do a curbside pick up at Walmart. After I drop my oldest back to work I had to go move a geocache I had hidden for a geocaching meet up I am doing Thursday.

@Marilynda1225 she wants to have her wisdom teeth out. The third came through and was so painful she wants them all out before the fourth comes through. She’s scheduled for surgery April 3.

I shudder at the thought of an appointment with an oral surgeon. I hope it went well and that she doesn't have to have painful extractions. My grandson just had his wisdom teeth extracted a few months ago.

That game was something else! I never would have expected that score. I really thought the chiefs were gonna win. I am glad they lost, so we can stop hearing about them constantly. This AM kind of frustrating as I was trying to get a battery installed by AAA here, and of course they wouldn't do it. The local place here thought I needed a jump. sigh! I should have known. I will get it changed in Richmond today.

Yes the game was a big surprise and I totally thought the Chiefs would win. I really thought it was going to be a shut-out until the Chiefs managed to score.
I'm surprised that AAA wouldn't do your battery.

They had a piece about him on the news last night.
He and his twin brother both play on different NFL teams.

@Juliaacv that's interesting about the brothers playing on different teams. I feel bad for the parents who have to root for two separate teams especially if they play against each other.

Pennsylvania is celebrating with the Eagles win
I'm not a football fan but it was quite a game.
I love penne with marinara or pretty much any kind of pasta.

Glad to hear the Eagles won, I missed it, but I bet I catch it next year
I still pay bills the old fashion way doing m/o & mailing them & we
even go to some of them to pay in cash so it's not lost in the mail.
Nothing is going on in our world like I wish it would I'm getting really
tired of sitting here waiting for something to get done so I can do
what I need to do to get this place back in order but as luck would
have it he's sick & the weather is too cold to do anything so that's life.

I'm glad you're enjoying your book again. I rarely read a book a second time only because I have so many books on my " to read " pile that it just seems like a waste of time to reread something.

@Marilynda1225 I seem to take more notice second time around. I think I read really quickly the first time to find out what happened. The second time I pick up a lot more.

I'm wishing for an early spring but not rushing summer. I hate all the heat and humidity that summer brings but this winter has been so cold that summer hot day would be enjoyed right now.
