A child is born. I have four red Roma tomatoes on my balcony. I am smoking a cigar and hope you will join me. I actually harvested one a couple of days ago and added it to my leftover Thai (Tom Kha Gai) soup. It was delicious. Do you grow tomatoes? How do you use them? Will you pause to celebrate this moment with me?

@TheHorse When I planted tomatos, I cleaned the ripe ones on my jeans and ate them. No salt, no dressings.

Happy Tomato! The last tomato plants we had were cherry tomatoes - 2 big pots given to us during the pandemic by my late dad. They were pretty damn good . . . even the kids would just pick 'em and eat 'em.

Fresh grown tomatoes are the best!! Now you really have me wanting to get my garden ready to plant! Tomato sandwiches, BLT's, tacos, homemade tomato sauce, salsa! Lots of things to use them for!! Enjoy the next one you pull!!

It will be a long time yet before we can plant tomatoes here. I am sure it is delicious. I love them plain, in salads, and Romas are the best for sauce.
