Creepy Convenience Store Employee

I had to refill my gas on the way home from my freelance work today and decided to stop by the closest gas station I could find instead of the usual one I go to. After filling up my gas, I went into the convenience store and the employee was watching my every move and kept licking his lips. I was going to buy a bag of chips and a bottle of water to take back home, but I decided against it after witnessing his behavior.
I walked out of there, got into my car, and drove back home without buying anything. I was disgusted by how he was looking at me and licking his lips like that. I won't go back there again.
I witnessed and experienced creepy behavior like this many times, and any time this happens I just walk out and never go back there again if I can help it. Anyway, just one creepy employee and a terrible experience. It annoyed me so thought I would share.

What's the point of taking a risk, right?

I wonder if he was the manager. I didn't see any other employee. Yes, that's right.

@lilacskies Probably a store with one employee on shift at a time. That in itself is creepy to me!

@kareng Yes, and no one else in the store. It wasn't even that late!

Sure understand. Women have a gut feeling that they need to always respect. You were smart to get out of there. I doubt I'd go back either.

Yes, I always listen to my gut instincts the older I get. Besides, I was all alone with that guy. Anything could've happened.

I wouldn't feel comfortable going back there either.
Compliments are usually nice, sometimes even a smile, but having someone stare at me while licking his lips! That's too much!

Yes, that was a terrible experience I don't want to go through again. I will avoid that convenience store from now on. Gas station itself was fine. The employee in the convenience store ruined it. A total creep.

It sure is creepy. Are you guys the only people around when this happened? If there were others, I might approach them and tell them about it. I might try taking a video, or photo of that employee, or have a little courage to have a little talk just to see the reaction. But if no one else is around, then walking out is the wisest thing to do.

Yes, just him and me in the entire store. I didn't see or hear anyone else. I walked out because I wasn't going to approach the guy to pay for a bag of chips and a bottle of water. It wasn't worth the risk one bit.
