Boiling Eggs for 10 Minutes

I just think the perfect timing for boiling eggs is exactly ten minutes. When you boil eggs at exactly 10 minutes, it'll yield the rightly boiled eggs, not soft and not hard. How long do you usually boil your eggs? How do you like your eggs boiled by the way? When I was young I like soft-boiled eggs.

@grenery8 Sometimes I salt eggs and sometimes I don't. It just depends on what I'm craving at the time.

I love soft boiled and hard boiled. I also love the type that are hard boiled but the yoke is still soft. Most often seen in the Japanese Ramen.

I put the egg in the pot, fill with water - and let it come to a boil. Then I put the heat way down and leave it there for about 15 minutes.

Yup. If the fire is slow 15 minutes maybe is okay.

If the yolk isn't completely solid, I won't eat the egg. I put the egg in cold water and set the timer for 15 minutes. That gives an egg that both white and yolk are cooked without any "wet" yolk left.

It depends on how you like it. I boiled it 10 minutes or 8 minutes and then put them in ice cold water.

I like eating them right after ten minutes because I like them hot.

Between 6-8 minutes. I want mine soft boiled where the yolk is not runny but still soft and the white is set.

I just let the water boil, and when I saw big bubbles I leave it for another 5 minutes, then I turn off the stove. After that I put them on tap water.

I prefer a hard-boiled egg, so I usually cook them for 15+ minutes.
