Doctor's Appointment

United States
February 11, 2025 11:06am CST
I have a doctor's appointment today which is a follow up of the appointment I had on February 3rd. I've been dealing with heart problems for the past year and needed to get it checked out. I am going to be getting the results. I suspect it is one of the A's - Angina, Arrhythmia, Atherosclerosis, but what do I know? I am no doctor. All I know is that I am having heart problems and need to get my results today to figure out my next move. I will have to have to be on more medication due to this new health problem and it's just one more in my life so I am just accepting it without complaining too much. I admit, I feel defeated about having so many health problems even though I am under 30, but I always try to remember that some babies are literally born with health problems and suffer since birth so I shouldn't complain because these health problems occurred in my 20s, not at birth. I will be seeing my doctor in about twenty minutes. We will go through the results and figure out my next move properly. I've been dealing with heart problems on and off for years, but the past year has been horrid. More on this later. I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

@lilacskies I am surprised that my oxygen levels are so good, given that I smoke.

Hang in there. I’m very blessed because I don’t have that many prescription medications. I’m also so thankful that we have modern medicine. The medical science of a heart transplant isn’t 60 years old yet! I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Thank you so much! You are so sweet! I am back from my doctor's appointment right now. Results weren't very good, but not one of A's I was thinking I had.

With heart problems our diet should be strict. A dietician will advise you on what you should and should not eat .
