We had a nice meal tonight. I had boneless pork chops waiting to be cooked and we decided on breaded pork chops tonight. I paired them with the very last purple top turnip greens that I picked from our Summer/Fall garden earlier today. That is the end of the garden and will soon be plowed for Spring planting!
I also fixed some Cornbread Stuffing. This is the boxed kind from Aldi's and thier brand which beats Stove Top Stuffing hands down in both flavor and price! It's less than half the price of Stove Top!
Everything turned out very tasty and hit the spot!

@FourWalls We tried them years ago when they first came out and didn't taste like anything. Sticking with beef here!

@kareng Thank you! It was very delicious. Have you ever tried tomahawk? Super delicious! I highly recommend it. I can't afford it alone, but when I pitch in to pay for household groceries, I can afford my portion of it just fine because I don't eat much. My serving is very small so it's quite affordable. My most affordable bill happens to be food right now out of everything thanks to pitching in with the household grocery bill. I am cutting out eating takeout for fun. I can't afford it.

@lilacskies No, that's out of my price range on retired salary, even with all the extra that I do!

Oh that sounds great! Last time I fixed broccoli and cheese soup my hubby turned his nose up. I can't get him away from beef and vegetable soup. That's going on the menu for Sunday when this next freeze hits. I'm so bummed about more cold and in the 20's!

I need to make some damn breaded pork chops or steaks. It's been on my list for a while. Hmm. In any event, I had some chicken thighs left over from a previous meal, so I took the meat off the bone and cooked up a rice stir-fry with onions, green peppers and peas. It was scrumptious.
