Race season has offically started. Oh, and Good morning.

The Daytona 500 this Sunday is technocally the offical kickoff of the nascar season, but true nascar fans know that today is really where it all starts. Tonight is the Duel at Daytona, the race that pretty much sets the stage for how the 500 will start. Over the years, it's gone by many names, but George and I always call it the gatoraid twin 150's. or simply gatoraids. I know where I'll be and I know what he'll be doing.
Wow, can't believe another year of racing begins.

It's just George. I typically curl up with the tub or a good pair of headphones until it's over. Especially if I'm not feeling well.

Glad I’m not there this week. 
I had enough of Speed Week when I lived there as a teenager.

@FourWalls Yeah. Someone in vagus offered tickets to the race as part of our "vacation plan." and I told her, no. We live here and know bettter. The best and safest seat is the livingroom couch.

I didn't know this even after 7 years here. Now I'll know why there are more cars around. I only knew about the noise of bike weeks.
