Ultimate Yuck

I would like to make a dessert for supper which calls for something that I didn't have on hand. Walking to the near by grocery store seemed a safer option than driving there did. The snow is quite deep. I would describe this as ultimate yuck. I'd send it to you, tariff-free if you'd like some @Scarred4lyfe it is yours for the asking.

They are running out of places to push our snow, the 4 lane streets are quickly become more like 3 lane streets. We need some melting to happen gradually.

It turned out being quite a longer walk than usual due to the snow that I was trudging through. But it was my decision to go, it wasn't like I had to have that item.

I do not know which is yuckier. Snow and cold weather, or cold weather and no snow. Either way I prefer not to venture out.

I say snow and cold, it pins you in. You still have the flexibility of going if it is just cold.

No you don't want to experience it, it is cold, it limits you to what you can do outside, and if you choose to go outside, you have to be very careful and fit in order to get through it.

It is going to continue to snow here all night long and all day tomorrow and all night again and I am not even sure when it will stop. I would be surprised if we can make it across town tomorrow for the Family Day events.

@wolfgirl569 The winds and snow are coming from another direction the past few hours, it is just swirling around from Lake Erie to Lake Huron and dumps on us in the middle. We are having blizzard strong winds. I imagine that they will pull the snow crews off of the roads soon due to reduced visibility.

It is like a broken pipe, it just won't stop. I have never seen anything like this. And it is supposed to snow all night again and all day tomorrow. It is crazy.

Yes, very careful. Today they have the salt on the roads, and the snow has melted, and the snow crews are driving the machinery up and down the sidewalks to clear the snow from those for safety.

It might look pretty until you have to be out in it. Today the sun is shining, the roads have been salted and the snow is melting. They are running the little clearing machines on the sidewalks now. Soon we will be back to normal.

It is the fluffy snow which is prettier than the dry snow, but we have had so much of it at this point that I am passed the pretty part of it.
