Of Hurt, Pain and God’s Grace

In January our new Pastor officially signed on as Pastor of our new Church, he preached a couple do great sermons, then was diagnosed with Lung Cancer, so as he goes through Chemo treatments, our interactions with him are through Zoom calls, text messages, emails and cards, his wife and daughter attend, but he cannot, another Church member is due to have surgery on her heart, and on Valentines day we unexpectedly lost another Church Member, who brought so much humor to our congregation! She had gone into the hospital Sunday, and died at 11 a.m on Valentines Day, I got the message she had passed an hour before we pulled into the parking lot!! So instead of being with her, I ended up calling, texting and emailing everyone with the news! Amidst this all I watched another friend whose always a pillar of strength crush under the weight of issues I am not getting into! And still through it all, I have been granted with the strength to get through..
