Jack fruit

We have jack fruit trees and they yield well each year. This year they have started late and hopefully they will be ready for harvesting before monsoon sets in.
There is a demand for these fruits but the only issue is getting someone to harvest them.
They can be cooked raw, eaten when ripe and goodies prepared with the ripe fruit. The boiled seeds taste great and are packed with nutrition.
There are reports that ice cream is made using this fruit.

Same here. After distributing and consuming there are enough to sell Sometimes they rot and we put them in the compost pit.

True! I've already tried jackfruit ice cream. It was okay—not really delicious, but not bad either. I've also tried Jackfruit candies. But most of the time, we make sweetened jackfruit-jackfruit in sweet syrup. I don't like the seeds, though, but my mom eats them.
