It's snowing!

The snow has just started here in eastern NC.
According to the weather channel, we're right on the border between snow and ice. I pray we don't get a lot of ice, it seems more dangerous than snow.
I know a lot of you are in the middle of a whole lot of bad weather. Please be careful.
I'm thankful we have a generator if the power goes out. We have candles, flash lights, food, hopefully what we need.
I feel so sorry to hear news about so much flooding along with the terrible snow and ice. My prayers are that everyone will stay safe.

Our weekend was snowy, icy and by Sunday into Monday lots of gusting wind. Trees down and power outages but thankfully we didn't lose power. I'm sorry that you're getting such a mess there and hope it doesn't get too bad. The storm predicted here for tomorrow seems to be going south and will miss us. I feel bad for anyone getting this mess but glad it's missing us.

We are 43 minutes from Jacksonville NC now and it’s raining. It’s been a long slow snowy ride thankfully it’s just rain the last half hour or so. I’ve been in the car for 14 hours today I am so over this traveling 
. They almost cancelled the marine corps graduation ceremony for tomorrow. Hearing that after 5 hours on the road was awful I felt like crying knowing we drove that far and might not even get to see my stepson. The plans are that graduation is now for about 2pm tomorrow instead of at 8 or 9am so that is a relief.

@1creekgirl thankfilly my husband has done all the driving so I got to read a large portion of the drive. I enjoy that. If I had been able to get more then 41/2 hours of sleep last night before leaving I would be so tired right now. I’m getting irritable so I’m thankfully seeing we are only 6 miles from the hotel now. Thank you for you praying for my travels.

The snow has stopped here but we're still getting arctic temps for another day or two before we get Spring temps for a while.
