When everything goes wrong on a bad day, it is best to relax!

I had a very bad day! Morning, I find my laptop battery has issues and need to be replaced! Already battling a financial crunch, I am not sure how long I can delay the fix. I lost $100 while trying to buy an app. The app did not resolve my issue and worse it is looking to mint more money by asking more money for additional features. Cancelled the subscription! Next, I was working on a project and that has been now withdrawn and that is definitely a job crisis for me. Add to that I accidentally spilled coffee on my colleague. I came home , browsed YouTube and now listening to songs. It would be better I do nothing as everything is turning bad on your bad day! When everything goes wrong on a bad day , it is better to relax. Agree?

You are doing the right thing. As long as l am still breathing, l recognise that things could have been worse.

i think spilling coffee is the smallest of all of those which were mentioned. i think you did the right thing by listening the songs and relaxing. of course, sorry for all of these things. when i have a bad day, i also listen to the songs and watch youtube shorts endlessly. hope you will feel better

Sorry it was a bad day. But for me, I cannot "relax" even on the worst of days . . . as a mom I have to keep on going with what I need to do (though I may wish to put a bag over my head and hide ). I do like to exercise/dance/deep breathe to music during such times . . . that helps me to get my anxiety out.

Welll, sometimes when you have eveyrthing goign wrong , we lose the motivation to continue. On that day , I had to snap out of the losing streak and ehcne decided to call it a day and relax. For mothers , there are really not much choices!

I think sometimes it's best to cut your losses and start again next day.

You are right- it is often better to start fresh from next day.
