Tricky Amazon Sellers

United States

My issues with Amazon thirty party sellers continue. I have found several other sellers who sell decent black pointy toe pumps that are perfect for my upcoming job interview. I bought one pair and tried to contact the seller to inquire about shipping, but guess what? There was no button for contacting seller. That's right. When I tried to contact them, there was only an option to talk directly with Amazon. I cancelled the order because that wasn't a good sign. I tried buying from a different seller on Amazon and again, the same thing happened. No option to talk directly with the seller. I have to chat directly with Amazon. What on earth is this? I've never had this happen before. I cancelled that order too. I'm going to a shoe store today. I usually don't shop for things physically unless I absolutely have to, and this is one of those rare occasions. I hope I find a pair of pumps for my job interview. So frustrating.

I think it is best to purchase shoes in person. Maybe what happened will work out for the best.

Yes, I used to buy them on Amazon and I had no issues. This streak of issues is pushing me to buy in person.

Perhaps it’s wrong of me but I don’t feel comfortable buying from third party sellers. I prefer to try on shoes before buying them so usually go to the store. But last last three pairs of flats I bought online. Kept some and returned others.

@lilacskies make sure they are comfy and won’t hurt your feet.

@lovebuglena I managed to buy a pair and have to break them in so I don't bleed.

I've always had a seamless experience shopping from third party sellers on Amazon until now. I have to go to the shoe store later. I'm trying to go when it's less crowded. I just need one pair of black pumps to wear to an upcoming interview. I am a minimalist so I only buy what I need and that's it. I am on a tight budget so I will have to be careful about this purchase.

Clothes is one of those things that should be done in person. However, Amazon is the one that ships the products on the third-party seller's behalf. So, if there's a shipping issue, it'd be on amazon, not the seller.

Yes, I do that sometimes too. I usually buy things on Amazon because it's such a seamless experience. Not this time around though. I have to go to a shoe store today. I hate shopping physically. Oh well.

It is best to buy in a store anyway to make sure they fit you right.

I would have gone to a physical shoe store after the first problem. It's always better to buy in person, anyway. No chance for someone to mess things up.

@lilacskies It's really rare for me to buy anything online. I don't like the experience. Pretty bought me some new sleep shorts and underwear on Amazon. I just got them yesterday.

I've always had seamless experiences with Amazon so I took another chance. I thought that one problem was a one off thing. I hate going to stores. I have no choice. I'm going later today.

@DaddyEvil I like shopping online and having things delivered to me because I hate shopping physically. I don't do well with crowds. I only buy necessities online anyway. That was very nice of her! I hope you like them!
