I am not sure if you have seen the trend "retro-walking" online. It is becoming a new way of having beneficial effects in our body. The manner of walking should be in a backward motion, which I think can strengthen our back muscles. Although I would not do it in public. Some of these people are walking in backward in public. Would you feel comfortable walking backward, especially in public? Image Credit: images.squarespace-cdn.com

I agree. Even if they go to the park and do this, it is inconvenient not only to oneself, but also to other people.

@rakski Tripping down is not a good thing, especially for the elders and toddlers.

@Shavkat yes, I do not think it is safe even at their own house and might need someone to assist them

I think it's pretty stupid - and dangerous - to walk backwards in public.

I agree. They have still not said use stone to clear the poop from your hemorrhoids. Our cavemen used that...and they were so healthy. LOL

That seems so silly but whatever they want to do I guess . Not me though I’ll stick to walking normally.

@shaggin Indeed. It is our own preferences. I just hope that no one gets hurt for doing this in public.

Nope. I'd trip and fall down. Then I'd be in the hospital.

@DaddyEvil That is a big problem. It is better to be safe and say sorry in the end.

Are you kidding? LOL. If we were meant to walk like that, god would give us at least one eye at the back of our head. LOL

It sounds funny, but it does make sense. It is a logical way to think it over.

I would considered an oddball if I walked backwards in public.

I can agree with you more. I would feel strange if seeing someone do this in public and in person.

If we can have a place that no one is there, I might do it without any second thought.

I did see a bit of retro-walking. It is interesting to know how something simple as walking backward can have benefits. It is good to know it can help with balance and strengthening of different muscles. However, I do not think I will be comfortable doing this in public. I do not think anyone would be comfortable doing this in public. It is dangerous stunt and could get you even arrested. It can dangerous there or even at home. I may try out in a space that I am comfortable and is only few steps. Till then , I will stick with the regular walking than the retro-walking. Take care!

It does make sense that we do not need to do this in public. For safety reason, we need to think not only twice if attempting to execute it. It will surely cause harm to oneself and to others, in my opinion.
