The sun came out and was so pretty this afternoon. I got dressed and went out to make sure the van would start and that the driveway was not blocked for me to leave. I was pretty sure there will be school tomorrow.
We just got the announcement that we will start two hours late tomorrow, but that will be okay. It will get us back into the routine. I think all my coworkers are well now, although our lead teacher will be leaving early because her day care is closing early and it is too cold for her kids to go to work with their dad, he runs a cattle feedlot, I believe.
We are warm and well fed and are just doing our thing here at home.

Actually the temperature has fallen quite a bit since I got up. I hope it reverses.

@GardenGerty It has not risen very much here in the last two days. It's been like 20-21F during the day here with a biting wind. I hope this is the last big cold blast of the season!

@kareng Sometimes I feel like it will never end. Here we are, almost a month later with temperatures from 60 to 80, except Wednesday it is supposed to snow for four hours.

It allows for full daylight and more driving time before school. It is good.

A delay seems to be the right call. That’s what our local weather guys said.

Nothing falling, nothing blowing, sun is shining but it is bitter cold. Time to go, though.

@DaddyEvil I am keeping a jar of pickle juice handy. My doctor also prescribes muscle relaxers as needed. Turns out it was quite likely my newest statin doing that.

Well, muscle spasms last night, probably from the cold. Sun is shining today. I am looking forward to the warm up this weekend.

@GardenGerty Ouch! Did you drink some pickle juice for the spasms?
We're looking forward to the warm up, too. We'll have to walk to my doctor appointment on the 26th.

It does not take too much to make me happy. Being warm is something that really does it for me.

That sounds like a good and peaceful day! Glad you went out for a bit and made sure everything was set for tomorrow. A two-hour delay does not sound too bad- it is probably a good wat to ease back into things. Hope everything will go smoothly at school with the lead teacher leaving early. It must be tough juggling schedules when weather gets cold. Staying warm and well-fed are the best ways to handle these chilly days. We are going to have the summer and a long one and temperature already is 33C. Hope the temperature don’t go to 40C. Take care!

I hope your temperatures do not go too high for too long. Your 33 C is a little over 91 F, and 40 C is 104 F. We get one or two days sometimes around the 40 C. Usually we are closer to the 33 C in the middle of our summer.
