The weather forecast says sleet, but that's not sleet. That's snow. MORE snow, on top of the snow that's on top of the snow that's on top of the ice that covered the snow... You get the idea, and you probably have the same at your house.
This is a photo of my front steps. Can you see them? Or the sidewalk or road?
Yesterday, I cleared the back door and a few feet of that walk. I figured I could do a bit more today and maybe get to my patio, where my walker is safely stowed under the awning.
Nope.
Guess I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Broom will kick some of the snow out of the way but refuses to fly in this weather. 
Maybe the Maple Leafs will finally win the Stanley Cup again, because hell seems to have frozen over.

It's the kind of weather you're talking about that makes me appreciate the warmer temperatures I get to live with. I am cold but it's nothing compared with what you've got to contend with.
I hope the sun will warm your area so that ALL that snow melts and no new snow will fall for a while.

It is. But at least it's not being added to this morning. In fact, I've noticed a couple snow caps on fence posts are shrinking.
