A cool clothing hack

Ladies, you know those ribbons that are attached to the shoulder of tops or blouses sometimes? They're to hang the top on a hanger so it won't poke out the material in things that are jersey or cotton.
But I always hated when the ribbons would come out of the top and be seen which is embarrassing. So, I figured out a way to still be able to hang the top with the ribbon without the chance of the ribbon showing.
I cut the ribbons off, then resewed them to the inside of the top at the arm pit. It can still be hung without harm to the garment, but there's no chance of the ribbons showing on the outside. It works really well.
Would this be a help to you? I hope the photo shows what I'm writing about.

Yes, this is very helpful. Those ribbons are such a nuisance. They stick out and also feel scratchy against my skin.

It didn't take but a couple of minutes to sew them on in that different place.

I always hated trying to be sure they weren't hanging out.

I have less drawer space than closet space.

I did, too, but I don't want to fold the tops in a drawer, so this works well.

I don't buy or own anything that has strings on them.
