Back from the Hospital

I'm back from the hospital. I had my blood work done and will get my results on Monday. I didn't get new antibiotics for my pleurisy. The new doctor told me to consult with my current doctor on Monday if the current antibiotics still don't work and I still need new ones. She didn't prescribe me any other medication either and told me to go home.
I will have to consult with my doctor on Monday as well as wait for my blood work results in a week. In the meantime, I'm going to take my current antibiotics for my pleurisy and get rest this weekend.
My boss also never got back to me regarding freelance work this weekend so it looks like I'm completely off this weekend. My money is drying up fast. I hope I get some work next week. I will stay in bed today and rest. I am so exhausted yet wide awake, and the chest pain won't go away. So frustrating.

Seems you have a very rough day! I can understand why you feel frustrated. Waiting for blood results and then dealing with uncertainty about your medication is definitely stressful. Good thing is you have the weekend to rest and relax, although it is not the best of the conditions. Hopefully by the weekend things will be back to normal. You doctor on Monday can reassess the treatment and provide better care and guidance. As far as work is concerned, hope your boss gets back to you at earliest with some freelance gigs. Meantime, take it easy and focus on recovery. In case chest pain worsens, please reach out medical attention immediately. Take care!

Thank you. I am resting this weekend until I can see my own doctor on Monday. My blood work results will take a week. I need to see my own doctor on Monday for further consultation. I will. I appreciate it.
