Oh dear, I hope the problem doesn't turn out to be expensive.

I hope not. I am hoping once they replace the plug it will take care of it, but it may be more involved than that.

It got there, but they didn't look at it today...Man in charge who I like named Robert said they were slammed as they are every Monday and he was down one mechanic.

He came late, and they didn't even look at it today
. I am not going to be very happy if this thing drags on past tomorrow.

It sadly seems that often when those check engine lights come on, they stay on forever. I hope that is not the case for yours.

I know what's wrong with it, but I don't know if it's the only thing Light is flashing which indicates a serious issue..I just hope it is an affordable serious issue.

I can sympathize for sure, been there and done that. My Jeep was a great vehicle for 14 years. The 15th year, she guzzled gas, was always in and out of the shop, and the transmission clunked so much and make such a loud noise I was waiting for it to fall out on the highway. It got scary...I was glad to have something else to drive!

Most cars with a serious issue have to go to a shop to be hooked up to a computer thing that analyzes just what is wrong with the car, and how to fix it if it's fixable, etc. It's not like it used to be when cars are simple. They are basically put together with a lot of electronics, computers, etc. You never want to mess with all of that stuff if you have no idea what you are doing.

She is supposed to dig into car repair now, possibly into the electrical system or the engine? Um...it's not something most people do here UNLESS they know what they are doing. A small issue can become a disaster very easily.

Hopefully it's just a sensor and an easy fix.
