It's almost a year now I am not able to creat vidoes using YouTube. A question is asked if my video is for kids. Even when I say they are for kids or not for kids, my work gets forzen there and I cannot go any further although the video from my folder gets uploaded and it gets a 'private' tab I want to know if there is an alternative to YouTube where I can comfortably create videos as I used to in the good old days when YouTube did not bother about what is good for kids and what is not. Any idea?

I think they're allowed in facebook and monetized it? Not quite sure since I never tried it yet, but I've noticed that many people can earn from facebook by uploading videos.

@allknowing As far as I know, they do, especially the reels. But check if it's available in your country.

That is odd. I hope you get it figured out or find an alternative site to post them on.

It is frustrating to see your videos frozen and stuck in the private tab on YouTube, especially when you want to create and share content. YouTube policies on kids’ content had few rules which are complicated. Some good alternatives for YouTube would be Dailymotion or Vimeo. These two should allow you to upload content without much restrictions. If you are looking for something with a more creative focus, you could try Instagram though they are typically for short form video ones. Another good option would be Facebook’s video platform where you can upload longer content. This could be to your personal or business page. You can personally check on these alternatives and decide on one., hopefully without much hassle. Hopefully one of these will be good fit for you!

A few here suggested Vimeo and when I tried to register I realised I already have an account there. I have successfully uploaded a video there and have written a post on that. Thank you. I will look at other choices that you have recomended as well if they are better than Vimeo.
